                How to Measure Your Ankle or Wrist Without a Measuring Tape

Grab a piece of string, thread, floss, ribbon, or a phone charger cord.

Wrap it around your ankle or wrist where you want it to sit.

Make sure it is comfortable — not too tight and not too loose.

Mark the spot where the string meets, or carefully cut the string at that point.

Lay the string flat on a table.

Open a ruler app on your phone, or search “online ruler” in your browser.

Place the string next to the ruler on your phone screen.

Write down the measurement in inches.

For comfort, add about ¼ inch to ½ inch depending on how loose you like your anklet.

Example: If your ankle measures 9 inches, you may want to order 9.5 inches.
